Kathleen Coughlin, LSW and Associates are a group of private practitioners that provide counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. The practice offers services to young children (ages 3 +), adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Our professionals are available 24-hours a day - 7 days a week for our clientele. We offer on-site services in schools, alternative education settings, nursing homes, businesses, and assisted living facilities.

Kathleen Coughlin completed her undergraduate studies at Kutztown
University, and received her Master in Social Work from Marywood
University. Kathleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.  Kathleen provides clinical supervision to other social workers in the local area.  She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including: hospitals, residential, in-home therapy, school based, managed care, emergency room and outpatient. Since 2002, she has operated a private practice in the Lehigh Valley.

Dr. Larry Dumont is a Board Certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. Dr. Dumont is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Tulane University where he majored in American Literature and he was an honors graduate of Northwestern Medical School in Chicago. Dr. Dumont did his post graduate training in General Psychiatry at Tulane University affiliated hospitals in New Orleans and his child and adolescent training at New York University Bellevue. Dr. Dumont has written two books: A Parents Guide to Teens and Cults and Surviving Adolescence. Dr. Dumont is the Director of Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at KidsPeace Hospital. Dr. Dumont is also a consultant for the juvenile justice system and school systems in PA and NJ. Dr. Dumont is a skilled psychopharmacologist who has been a featured speaker by several pharmaceutical companies. He has done training workshops on dealing with children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders and Asperger’s Syndrome. He is a frequent lecturer on subjects ranging from Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Anxiety Disorders.

Gina Holmes is a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate work in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State University. Gina completed her graduate work in Social Work at Marywood University. Gina provides therapy to individuals, adolescents, families and couples. She has extensive experience working within school based mental health settings with children and adolescents. Gina has specialized training to work with children who have been sexually abused as well as those who have abused other children. She uses both art and play therapy as therapeutic methods with children. Gina is a member of the National Association for Social Workers. She is very active in the community as she has been a volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters for the past 10 years.

Bernard completed extensive clinical training from the National Center for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with the Veterans Administration in Menlo Park, CA. Furthermore, Bernard has worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings: community social work organization, Veterans Administration, hospital, transitional housing program, substance abuse program, and in schools. Angelica Ventresca completed her Undergraduate studies at Penn State University, and she received her Master’s Degree from Marywood University. Angelica is fluent in English and Spanish. Angelica provides therapy for Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples and Families. Angelica has extensive experience working with clients that have been involved with the justice system, individuals with mood disorders, drug and alcohol addictions, depression and child/parent conflicts.

Angelica also provides services at our office to the adult population providing DUI counseling sessions to help the individual learn insight into the disease concept and the benefits of sobriety. This program fulfills the legal requirements for outpatient counseling as mandated by the courts. This program is available in both English and Spanish.

Angelica has also worked with families of diverse background helping them transition into a new culture in which they are not accustomed to. Angelica works in a safe comfortable environment, making sure that each session is designed to help meet the specific need of the client and works with the client to find a solution. Angelica uses both Play Therapy and Art Therapy when working with children who have dealt with a specific trauma. Angelica uses the Empowerment Theory as therapeutic method to help the client meet their goals.

Gretchen Moehrle received her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. Gretchen has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential treatment, family based, emergency room, and outpatient. She has worked with families, couples, adolescents and teens, the clinically depressed, grieving individuals, victims of abuse, and perpetrators of sexual, physical, and emotional violence. Gretchen completed her undergraduate studies at Cedar Crest College in Allentown and is a member of the American Counseling Association.
