Life Coaching is a process of motivating you, inspiring you and building on your strengths. In your coaching sessions we will identify what goals you would like to work towards and the most effective way to obtain them. Along the way we will identify any obstacles that may block your path and identify the plan to move forward. We all have dreams and aspirations. We all have that desire to strive for betterment, but we often ignore these stirrings because life and responsibilities get in the way. Life is too short to not go after your goals and you need to strive to reach your potential. Together, in a collaborative effort, we can define your goals, clarify and establish a plan and take action. Our role is to guide you, provide encouragement and motivate you to follow through with your commitment to make changes. Your Life Coach is here as a tour guide for your journey to self-actualization. Life Coaching is about motivating, inspiring, and building upon strengths. It is time to acknowledge your strengths and achieve self-growth.
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation – may be necessary to diagnose any number of emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders. An evaluation may be needed to determine an appropriate level of care and make recommendations for adults, children and adolescents.
Medication management may be required based upon the psychiatrist’s recommendations and the type/number of medications the client is prescribed.
In individual counseling or therapy, a client meets one-on-one with a professional. Such a
working relationship may last for only a few sessions or may continue for much longer, depending
on the needs of the client.
Clients seek therapy for a variety of reasons with the hope of feeling better overall. Common
reasons include: depression, anxiety, family and relationship issues, eating and body image
issues and work related stress.
This program fulfills the legal requirements for outpatient counseling as mandated by the courts. The goal of the program is to help the individual learn insight into the disease concept and the benefits of sobriety. Each client will receive an intake, drug and alcohol assessment, exit interview and aftercare plan. This program is available in both English and Spanish.
Family therapy involves discussion and problem-solving sessions
with the family. Some of these sessions may be as a group, in couples or one-on-one. In family
therapy, the web of interpersonal relationships is examined and, ideally, communication is
strengthened within the family system.

Supervised visitation is a generic term that describes parent/child contact overseen by a third party. It is also a term for contact between a noncustodial parent and one or more children in the presence of a third person, in which the only focus is the protection and safety of the child and adult participants.
Supportive supervised visitation is contact between a noncustodial parent and one or more children in the presence of a third person, in which the supervisor is actively involved in promoting behavioral change in the parent/child relationships.
Our program is a 12-week anger and violence prevention program (individual or group). Some people refer themselves to our classes as a direct result of their own upsetting behavior, which they have decided to change. Others are referred due to a precipitating event such as a relationship breakup or disruption with a co-worker in which anger management participation is a condition for reconciliation. Other categories of referrals to our programs are people who are sent through their attorneys, the court system, their therapist, their employer, or family members. Please call our office for further details.
Our professionals are available to complete domestic or international adoption home studies. To complete the home study, the social worker will visit the home and collect data on health, medical, legal and other relative family history. The purpose of the home study is to determine whether the adoptive parents are qualified to adopt a child, based on the criteria that has been established by state or government law. Home studies are also completed to assist in child custody decisions.
Our goal is to make the home study process as easy as possible, while still meeting the requirements of the State of Pennsylvania, U.S. Immigration, and the placing agency. Please feel free to contact our office to discuss how we can assist you in completing the home study for your family.
Our office offers clinical supervision services for individuals working on obtaining their licensure in Pennsylvania. We offer clinical supervision based on your individual needs. The goal of supervision is to assist the supervisee in developing their professional identity – It is in clinical supervision that one learns effective diagnosis, technical skills, emotional balance, treatment modalities and insight into self and others. Please feel free to contact our office at 610-861-8779 to discuss your individual supervision needs.
In addition, our practice offers therapy on-site at your group home, skilled nursing facility, hospital, business, independent living home, retirement community and nursing homes.
